John was a very good instructor... you were right Dideyohvsgi, he is indeed a very good instuctor for the class. To me it not only had to do with the information being given that was impressive, but how it was presented. For example, the tennis balls he brought in... he taught one of us how to juggle (which the person didn't really do an expert's job but it was not bad for her first time). Anyway I'm getting off subject, he told her that if she were to go home and practice for about a total of 12 hours a day, she would do fantastically by our next class. Then John clearly stated that if she did not practice she would not do as good and may even do worse. He also stated that this juggling act was a metaphor, for hard work. Like for this class, if I was to write a paper on a particular subject I should go home and study insted of waiting till the last moment.

  1. Juggling is a good metaphor for many things, but it does prove that practice counts in overall improvement on so many levels. ~Ms. A.
